Unix System Engineer - AIX, Linux

New long term freelance opportunity for a Unix (AIX) System Engineer to join our leading Financial services client in Luxembourg. This candidate will be joining a pre-existing Unix Customer team and will be responsible for System Engineering of the AIX environment as well as managing:

• 250 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 and 7 machines (90% virtualized).
• Power servers under AIX 7 using PowerVM / VIO (NPIV, SEA) with approximately 100 partitions managed under NIM hosting critical applications and databases (Oracle, Websphere Application Server, IBM Spectrum Protect, XFB Gateway, Swift, etc.) .

To be successful in this role you must have proven Unix/Linux System Engineering experience and also have experience working with AIX.

This candidate must speak fluent french and the maximum daily rate is €400-450 EUR per day.
