DevOps Developer/Tech Lead

DevOps Developer/Team Lead – French Speaking – Hybrid

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a global tech company who support some of the world's biggest banks, are looking for an experienced DevOps Developer/Team lead to become part of a growing and innovative technology team.

This once in a lifetime opportunity will give the team player a chance to utilise their existing experience within the banking industry to help and support the whole team with their day-to-day technology needs.

Skills/experience:

-Have significant experience as a Back-End developer (microservices, REST Webservice, SOAP Webservice, API Management, messaging, etc.): Java 8, Java 17, Spring

-Master scripting and coding: Bash, Shell, YAML

-Master containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, MyVault

-Master infrastructure as code: Terraform

-Have expertise on Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Responsibilities:

-In collaboration with infrastructure architects and application architects, define hosting architectures, architecture patterns, and scalable, resilient, and secure target solutions adapted to applications.

-Provision infrastructure in the Société Générale private cloud using the administration console, REST APIs, and Terraform (Infra as Code).

-Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines based on the tools provided by the Société Générale DevOps service platform.

-Exploit technical and application monitoring tools made available by the Société Générale monitoring platform to analyze behavior, performance, and scalability of applications.

-In collaboration with security experts, define and implement security mechanisms necessary to secure the perimeter applications.

-Identify areas for cost optimization and infrastructure rationalization.

-Ensure automation of recurring tasks.

-Participate in delivery of applications in various environments.

-Resolve infrastructure incidents investigating root causes to ensure lasting fixes.

-Write technical documentation: architecture file, security file, operational file, technical sheet, etc.

-In collaboration with Agile Master, animate and support on a daily basis a hybrid team (France & India) of 10 DevOps.

-Support dev teams on a daily basis in a DevOps / SRE approach.
