DevOps Engineer

Location: Remote based in Netherlands

THE COMPANY

Empiric is working with a Product company, designing B2B software, who are now looking to add another DevOps Engineer to the team to support the growing demand for their product from their user base. They have established a very large customer base across the Netherlands and plan on adding to that in the short term.

This organisation are a heavily financially backed start-up, with them having a fast-paced working environment and team members wearing multiple hats.

Even though they are a fully remote company, a culture of collaboration is encouraged within the business, resulting in excellent teamwork and professional relationships to form.

THE INDIVIDUAL

• Experience working with AWS environment
• Infrastructure as Code experience - e.g. CloudFormation using CDK
• Coding experience with Python
• Datadog experience beneficial

THE JOB

• You would be working with the product, implementing and designing new features
• Responsible for the reliability and monitoring of the product
• Working with Python for automation scripts, removing manual tasks as much as possible
• Automating AWS cloud infrastructure and deployments using IaC
• Opportunity to grow into a Team Lead in future too, with the business having ambitious growth plans
