Empiric has received exclusive instructions from one of the world's most innovative Pharma organisation for a Drupal/PHP Developer with experience of designing, building, and operating tooling hosted on AWS.

The Drupal Engineer will develop a Drupal 9 application providing forms for self-service tasks. that trigger automation events for other developers to make their workflows more efficient. The Drupal Engineer will build new features and fix bugs.

The successful Drupal Engineer will take pride in the quality of your code, delivery practices, and breadth of the automated test coverage.

This exciting opportunity will both challenge and improve your Drupal/PHP skills to the max . and enhance your competences.

Skills and experience required

• Programming: AWS, Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge
• Software development: PHP 8+ and Drupal 9+
• Testing: PHP Unit
• User experience design: Accessibility and WCAG
• Methods and tools: Kanban and Lean
• IT infrastructure: Terraform and Cloud Formation
• Docker
• Git - rebase, squash, bisect
• Developing re-usable Drupal modules to integrate with internal bespoke systems and APIs.

Term: 12 to 18 months plus possible extensions
