M365 Security Expert

Empiric are partnering with a large financial company in Europe. We are seeking a freelance Microsoft 365 Security Consultant for a 3-year project. This role offers the opportunity to work fully remote and focus on strengthening Microsoft Governance within the financial organization.

Responsibilities:

As a Microsoft 365 Security Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to enhance Microsoft Governance within the company's Microsoft 365 environment. You will:

• Design and implement robust security architecture for Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams.
• Optimize advanced threat protection features and promptly respond to security incidents.
• Manage identity and access controls and enforce data protection measures.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and regulations.
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and audits.
• Provide security awareness training to employees and end-users.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Microsoft 365 Security Consultant, specializing in Microsoft Governance.
• Strong expertise in Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams security.
• Familiarity with industry security frameworks and regulations.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Relevant security certifications are advantageous.
• Prior experience in the financial industry is preferred.

Duration and Location:

This freelance position spans 3 years and is fully remote, open to candidates located anywhere in Europe.
