Embedded Software/Firmware Engineer

£50,000 - £80,000 based on experience

My global client based in Cambridge is seeking an Embedded Software/Firmware Engineer. As an Engineer you will be responsible for the developing clear, well documented, structured and reliable code on a variety of processors and microcontrollers working on a highly confidential project.

Experience required:

* Embedded Software development in C, C++

* Python Software development

* Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
* Embedded microcontrollers

* Firmware development using task schedule and RTOS (eg. Free-ARTOS, Zephyr)

* Demonstrated experience in participating on global multi-disciplinary product development teams

* Managing build processes and source code maintenance

*Knowledge of statutory regulations and industry standards

* Understanding of hardware and interfaces - ARM, USB, UART, Nordic Semi, ST, MAXIM, I2C and SPI * Good general knowledge of PCB layout and circuit design and discrete electronic components
