What did you study (at school, college or university)?
After my first degree in Law, I decided to pursue a masters in IT and Telecommunications Law because it was cutting edge and I was curious. Going into IT was one of the best decisions I made in my career.

How did you get into technology?
After my Masters degree in IT and Telecommunications law, I decided to get practical work experience in the industry. So, I got my first job at a telecommunications company- telefonica o2. Although the job was not a core technical role, it was a really rewarding experience because for the first time, I was able to apply what I learned at University. It also gave me an insight into the perspective of technology consumers.

What do you do at your current company?
Data Protection Lead

What advice would you give to girls looking to get into a tech related career?
I would tell any teenage girl that the future is "data" because data underpins everything. So, girls everywhere should learn about data because honestly, it really quite easy to learn.
