AWS Glue Developer – AWS Glue - ETL - Python/PySpark - SQL - Remote – Hungary

Empiric has received an exciting opportunity for an AWS Glue Developer with good experience in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes to support the clients data analytics and business intelligence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design and implement ETL processes using AWS Glue.

· Develop and maintain data pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources

· Collaborate with data scientists, technical leads and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.

· Optimize and troubleshoot existing ETL processes for performance and scalability.

· Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the ETL lifecycle.

· Monitor and manage AWS Glue jobs and workflows.

Technical Skills:

· AWS Glue, including Glue ETL jobs, Glue Data Catalog, and Glue Crawlers.

· AWS services such as S3, Athena, Lambda, Redshift, and IAM.

· Job orchestration and Scheduling: AWS Glue workflows, AWS Step Functions.

· Python/PySpark.

· SQL and database management.

· Python or Scala for ETL scripting.

· Data warehousing concepts and technologies.

· Data integration and transformation tools.

· Understanding of cloud security best practices.

• Term: 6 to 18 Months plus extensions
