Electrical Project Coordinator | Data Center Construction | Nevada & Utah

Empiric is recruiting Electrical Project Coordinators to support project managers and field teams on major hyperscale data center builds. You'll keep drawings, submittals, equipment orders and open actions organized so crews have what they need before work starts.

Our clients are two of the largest and most established electrical contractors in the Western US, each with mission critical as a core market and a long track record delivering hyperscale and colocation data centers. Both are growing their Nevada and Utah operations to keep pace with campus work across the Reno, Las Vegas and Salt Lake City markets.

Locations and travel

Site-based opportunities in Nevada and Utah. Candidates open to travel or relocation are welcome.

What you'll do

• Track RFIs, submittals, drawing revisions and approvals, and get current information to field teams.
• Maintain procurement logs for electrical materials and equipment, and follow up with vendors on release dates, lead times and deliveries.
• Help prepare change order documentation, cost logs, meeting minutes and action lists.
• Coordinate with project managers, foremen and the GC to flag issues that could delay installation.
• Assemble closeout records, including as-builts, O&M manuals, warranties and turnover documentation.

What you'll bring

• Experience in construction project coordination, project engineering or an assistant PM role.
• Electrical contractor experience or exposure to electrical packages is especially relevant.
• Comfort reading drawings, following up with vendors and using tools such as Procore, Bluebeam or Excel.
