The Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Recruiter, or an established Recruitment Leader, to start an AI & Data practice from our London office. This would initially be focused on permanent appointments, but there would be scope to also deliver against contract opportunities.
As a strategic investment, this new team already has a significant budget set aside for headcount growth, marketing, networking events or conferences, and technology purchases. For the right person, this is an opportunity to rapidly grow a leading practice within Empiric, during the most exciting years in the company’s history.

What we look for in you:
- We value our culture above all else, so we are very selective about who joins the team. Beyond any practical experience, we place immense importance on the person you are. The key attributes we look for are resilience, drive, curiosity, and your ability to be a team player.
- Recruitment experience in AI & Data. As this is a strategic investment, we need the figurehead to be someone who has a track record of recruitment success within the area we are targeting.
- Business development experience. To start any recruitment practice, there is a period where you will be required to win and nurture customers to provide a good flow of requirements to your team. You should have experience and prior success in doing this.
- People management experience. It would be fantastic if you already have some experience in people management. However, if you are currently an individual contributor looking to move into leadership, and you have the experience we are looking for in AI & Data, then we can provide plenty of training and support to transition you into Leadership.

- We have a sizeable and passionate Operations & Marketing Team. They aim to ‘clear the runway’ for you so that you can fly. With less ‘admin’ comes more time to do what you are best at.
- And once you make placements, we will pay you more for completing those placements than you would receive at any comparable recruitment business. We have no threshold, and our commission scheme accelerates quickly to 35%.
