Responsibilities
- Lead the Very large accounts (VLE) German market, responsible for acquiring new VLE accounts and expanding existing business with enterprise solutions to meet revenue and profit goals.
- Utilize both tactical and strategic go-to-market approaches to grow the customer base in the short and long term, driving increased revenue, customer growth, and retention.
- Promote the brand to customers, prospects, and alliance partners by participating in industry events and working with Marketing to create impactful campaigns that generate new opportunities.
- Build strong partnerships at the senior leadership level, key decision-makers and establish new business relationships often from scratch
- Manage complex sales cycles, closing new business and identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
- Support the weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasting process, including pipeline analysis, data validation, and identifying gaps with actionable steps. Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams and resources to ensure the delivery of the best solutions for clients.
Requirements
- 10-15+ years of experience in direct sales for large accounts in a quota-carrying software sales role, preferably within cloud-based technology.
- Proven experience managing and closing complex sales cycles, including successfully closing deals worth 1M+ TCV and handling multiple large accounts in a proactive, hunting-focused approach.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage VP- and C-level executives from the ground up.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with an understanding of the dynamics within a high-growth company and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in both German and English is required; additional languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel 25% or more, as needed, within the territory and for company events.
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
- A strong track record of consistently high performance and a hunter sales mentality.
