Interim Controller – NetSuite / IFRS / UK & Dutch GAAP

Location: On-site in London (UK) or Utrecht (Netherlands)

Duration: 6-month contract (potential extension)

Overview

A global entertainment company is seeking an experienced Interim Controller to strengthen its finance team during a critical growth phase. The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting skills with deep NetSuite expertise and an understanding of both UK and Dutch GAAP as well as IFRS.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting in compliance with IFRS, UK GAAP and Dutch GAAP.
• Oversee and optimise NetSuite ERP, including reporting, controls, and integrations.
• Provide accurate management information and insight to senior leadership.
• Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and external stakeholders across the UK and Netherlands.
• Support process improvements and ensure strong financial controls.
• (Preferred) Apply knowledge of the music or wider entertainment industry to guide best practice.

Requirements

• Proven experience as Financial Controller, Senior Finance Manager, or similar in an international business.
• Strong NetSuite ERP skills—configuration, reporting, and process optimisation.
• Solid technical accounting background with IFRS and both UK & Dutch GAAP.
• Track record in multi-currency, multi-entity environments.
• Hands-on and self-sufficient, comfortable working on-site in London or Utrecht.
• Entertainment or music industry experience is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch language a plus.
