Role Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement a communication strategy that fosters growth within the IT community and elevates their brand reputation and trust.
  • Spearhead thought leadership initiatives to establish software quality and maintainability as a distinct category, reinforcing our position in the field.
  • Cultivate our brand image and guarantee adherence to our standards, voice, and communication style.
  • Conceptualize, take ownership of, and execute the content strategy to generate, distribute, and assess content for them, increasing inbound demand.
  • Create a compelling content strategy, complete with editorial schedules, and oversee the entire content creation process.
  • Craft content that is clear, concise, and persuasive, resonating with our target audience and emphasizing the value of their solutions.
  • Produce engaging copy for web pages, blog posts, industry reports, landing pages, social media platforms, and other digital assets, ensuring alignment with SEO best practices.
  • Continuously assess and evaluate the impact of all your efforts.
  • Manage a team of copywriters, illustrators, and data analysts, whether in-house or outsourced.

Your Qualifications

  • Over seven years of experience in content marketing, content writing, and (copy)editing, with at least three years dedicated to B2B content.
  • Extensive background in communications and brand strategy, particularly within the B2B technology sector, and preferably in a fast-paced SaaS company.
  • Proven track record of enhancing brand visibility and reputation.
  • Possesses a deep understanding of the commercial impact of content marketing on business.
  • Demonstrates a strong grasp of marketing channels and the ability to craft a comprehensive content marketing strategy covering the entire sales funnel.
  • Exceptionally organized and structured, excelling in the management of multiple projects and deadlines, including project and stakeholder coordination.
  • Proficient in strategic messaging and positioning, with the ability to transform complex ideas into compelling content and a clear vision of what constitutes high-quality content.
  • Experienced in idea conceptualization and translating concepts into concrete briefs for writers or designers.
  • Skilled in implementing data-driven content marketing strategies to achieve results, employing lean and agile methodologies.
  • Capable of effectively managing, developing, and hiring a high-performing team of content creators, including writers, video editors, and graphic designers, whether in-house or through outsourcing.
  • Near-native proficiency in both written and spoken Dutch and English.
