Workday Student Financials Consultant - (Various Levels)

Workday Student Financials Consultant (various levels), you will play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding results for various clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Serving as a Workday product expert, with a deep understanding of design, configuration, testing, and implementation processes (Dependent on level / experience).
• Steering the tactical direction of project workstreams, making critical decisions that align with project goals.
• Identifying dependencies and fostering collaboration across different project workstreams.
• Leading and mentoring other Consultants, providing guidance and oversight on their project work.
• Facilitating design sessions and guiding clients through configuration decisions, leveraging best practices and a deep understanding of the client’s specific business needs throughout all project phases.
• Engaging with clients consistently throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring a seamless transition from legacy systems to the Workday Student solution.
• Managing multiple tasks with minimal supervision while keeping the client, project team, and Engagement Manager informed of project changes or progress.
• Taking on leadership roles within projects, including serving as a Workday product Partner Lead or Delivery Assurance Reviewer.
• Demonstrating hands-on expertise with the software, including client data loading, tenant-to-tenant configuration transfers, and business process and security configuration.
• Utilizing technical skills to convert and map data sources into data conversion templates via iLoads.
• Mentoring fellow consultants and analysts, supporting them through shadow assignments and providing ongoing guidance.
• Actively participating in training and internal knowledge-sharing opportunities to continually develop and share skills within the organization.
• Performing additional duties as assigned by your manager.

Skills & Requirements

• Subject Matter Expertise in Student Financials, ideally in a lead role on a Workday Student project.
• Experience in gathering requirements, designing, prototyping, testing, and deploying solutions to meet customer needs.
• Strong report writing skills are highly desirable.
• Workday Student certification is preferred (Re-certification / ramp-up time available if sufficient Workday Student financials exposure / experience held).
• Proven project leadership experience, ensuring the successful delivery of functional solutions.
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service, and improving the Higher Education journey and experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to manage customer expectations effectively.
• Minimal travel is required (Limited client visits, and occasional team gathering/meetings).
