Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data & AI Architect to join our growing data consulting practice. In this senior-level role, you will take the lead in crafting end-to-end data and AI solution architectures that solve real business challenges, while guiding a team of data engineers and collaborating closely with business and technical stakeholders.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you’ll be working at the intersection of solution architecture, data strategy, and AI innovation, enabling clients across industries to extract value from their data assets and deliver on transformation goals.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Design scalable and innovative data and AI architectures to meet business needs
• Translate business and technical requirements into actionable solution designs and roadmaps
• Lead and mentor teams of data engineers and architects, ensuring delivery best practices
• Support the Product Owner in defining sprints, milestones, and delivery timelines
• Work directly with clients to scope requirements, analyze data lifecycles, and propose solutions
• Collaborate with consultants and data scientists to create insights that drive business value
• Present architectural decisions and technical solutions in a clear, concise manner to both technical and executive audiences
• Ensure smooth integration of new AI solutions with existing infrastructures and processes

🧠 Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Informatics, Computer Science, Information Science, Business IT, or a related field
• Strong background in solution architecture design or process automation
• Proven experience leading teams in data engineering or data architecture
• Skilled in high-level and low-level solution design
  • (Bonus: TOGAF or DAMA-DMBOK certification)
• Expertise in cloud architecture (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
• Proficient in data modeling and business modeling
• (Bonus: experience in software engineering or data processing)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex ideas for business stakeholders
• Comfortable working in agile, cross-functional teams
• Professional proficiency in Dutch and English
