A Functional Analhyst is required for a long term opportunity.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Functional Analyst with extensive experience in managing and executing large-scale projects in an ERP environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in identifying business requirements, process design, and functional specification development. This role requires someone who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that all functional specifications are clear, comprehensive, and conducive to effective implementation by technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirement Gathering & Analysis:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document business requirements.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of business processes and workflows, translating them into functional specifications.
  • Design and refine business processes using BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) methodologies (nice to have).
• Functional Specification Development:
  • Develop detailed functional specifications within an ERP environment, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Include technical elements in the specifications to guide the technical team in defining data models, screens, and other technical requirements.
  • Provide prototyping capabilities to visualize solutions and refine requirements (nice to have).
• Project Collaboration & Communication:
  • Work closely with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate interpretation of specifications.
  • Utilize tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms for project tracking, documentation, and collaboration.
  • Ensure all project documentation is clear, well-structured, and effectively communicates the necessary information.
• Continuous Improvement:
  • Proactively identify areas of improvement in business processes and suggest enhancements.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and tools that can improve project outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  • Proven experience in large-scale projects with high demand.
  • Strong background in functional specification development within an ERP environment.
• Skills:
  • Excellent ability to identify, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Strong understanding of process design; BPMN knowledge is a plus.
  • Technical understanding to include necessary elements in specifications for data modeling and UI design.
  • Prototyping skills are advantageous.
  • Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • High proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management and collaboration tools.
