THE COMPANY

Empiric is working closely with our partner to hire an experienced Senior Calypso Consultant on a freelance basis.

The consultant will play a critical role in managing the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of the Calypso platform for a leading financial institution in Madrid.

THE INDIVIDUAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

We are looking for someone with extensive experience in Calypso implementations and support, including:

• Calypso Tool Proficiency:
• Environment configuration: workflows, filters, domain values, task station, fixed data, market data, reports, and rule definitions.
• Strong knowledge of Calypso integration with external tools and applications.
• Hands-on experience in incident management and resolution.

• Treasury Knowledge (Desirable):
• Familiarity with RF, MM, FX, OTC Derivatives, and Collateral products.
• Understanding of the operations life cycle (contracting, confirmation, settlement, accounting, etc.).

• Technical Expertise:
• Advanced experience in Java architecture development.
• Proficiency in databases (Oracle, SQL Server).
• Knowledge of batch processes (EOD, EOM) and planning tools such as Control-M.
• Experience with Calypso v17 or higher is valued.
