NetSuite Functional Consultant

The Role

You will join and enhance an existing team responsible for ensuring the Finance team is getting the best out of the technologies they employ to do their job. NetSuite is our core Finance system and it is supplemented by additional applications focused on specific tasks performed or managed by the Finance team.

We operate a hybrid model, working at least 3 days a week in the office in London.

The Functional Consultant will:

• Be a qualified accountant and solutions to the Finance teams
• Complete implementation activities for identified improvements to our use of NetSuite and supporting applications, including understanding requirements, designing and building solutions, testing and training of end-users.
• Provide guidance on the best use of NetSuite functionality
• Be a source of knowledge for the BAU Support team when they require assistance dealing with unusual or complex issues.
• Ensure my client understands and where relevant, make use of the new functionality delivered in NetSuite’s twice yearly product releases.
• Work with technical and integration teams to design, test and train on complex solutions

Main Experience

• 3+ years of NetSuite consulting / implementation experience
• NetSuite certifications
• Accounting Qualification (CIMA/ACCA)
• Business analysis experience, including the production of process documentation and capturing our requirements
• Coordinate testing, including drafting test cases and scenarios
• Provide support to Finance and non-Finance end users
• Finance and accounting experience and an understanding of Finance processes
• Understanding of IT projects and the project lifecycle
